This activity was implemented in coordination with TDP, UDEF (the Federation of International Student Associations), the Municipality of Gaziantep and Syrian Students from the Scholarship Office. The activity aimed to train skilled international and Turkish students in rhythm, chorus and folk dances in order to produce a performance at the International Student Festival. The trainings were given in the GAUN Conservatory. Each training is for 70 hours and 210 hours in total. Students selected a course according to their interest and registered for it. They attended the classes and got ready for the festival.

Within the scope of this event, international students had the chance to represent their own cultures. With the support of the Municipality of Gaziantep, tents were set up for each country that wanted to represent their culture in the festival area. For those who wanted to serve their traditional foods, all the ingredients were provided by the project. Students prepared the foods for International Student Festival.

This project was finalized with an International Student Festival which enabled all international communities in GAUN to represent their cultures through music anddance, etc. During the two days, international dishes were served by international students and photographs were exhibited. With this activity, Syrians and other international students had the chance to introduce their cultures, discover common things about food or art, and they did most of the activities together with Turkish students as one team.
